That’s right. I dislike the species Homo sapiens. As a species they are destructive to their surroundings in a manner similar to a virus or perhaps locusts. They frequently make stupid decisions as a mass with little or no regard to the outcome it will have on those who don’t agree with it. An exceptionally egocentric species that literally thinks they are the centre of the universe (which by the way is rather large..). This is also reflected in the idea they have that they can ‘destroy all life’. A God complex I guess. They want to believe in a higher-self and at the same time believe they are the higher self.
People how ever are thoughtful, helpful and caring. Sure you get the odd idiot here and there but in general I find people to be a lovely, smiley, curious, happy sort. They open the door when your arms are full. They hold the lift for you. When you do see an idiot being an idiot they share ‘that’ look with you and give knowing smiles (or roll their eyes and grin). They scoop up the lost bird on the ground and nurse it back to health. They smile in delight at the sight of a new baby animal (click this link for a major awwwww moment) see here
They take pleasure in the beautiful world they live in and rejoice in learning new things. They don’t assume creatures are stupid simple because they can’t understand them. I could go on and on with this list but the short and skinny is I love people.
So I guess it’s one of those love hate relationships *grin* And when an idiot annoys me I can curse them under my breath as ‘stupid human’. Love the skin you’re in but never be blind to what you are a part of. Perhaps then you can truly make a difference.

My new book starts out kinda like that…dissin' humans…we may need to collaborate! 😉 (Of course, I haven't finished the 'old' one yet, but I will…)
I absolutely understand what you're saying, my sister and I talk about this sort of thing often.
Also, that link is too adorable!
Well, that's a happy thought for a Monday morning 🙂
@ Vicki&Kelly – glad we're on the same page 🙂 And I think it's pretty appropriate for a Monday Jolene *grin* I grumble as I'm surrounded by idiot humans in traffic and then am happy to see all the people I like when I get to work *grin*
and fyi for idiot humans – merge like a zip!! Like a zip damn it!
