A truly awesome blog – bring on Optimism!

August 20, 2010 by Nicole 6 Comments

The Personal Excellence Blog

I’m an eternal optimist no matter what.  This drives Glenn somewhat batty as he likes to think of himself as a ‘realist’ *lol*  Which in my books, is an in-disguise pessimist *hee*.
Both my parents tend towards pessimism which is why we don’t discuss my writing.  Or if we do only very briefly.  In short they’re terrified I’ll fail and disappoint myself which they want to protect me from *rollseyes*.  However in my mind it isn’t a matter of if I’ll succeed, just when (January 2011 I’ve decided *grin*).
When hunting for quotes I stumbled across this blog and I LOVE it. It’s officially on my top ten.  Check it out, there are sooo many things that will help anyone no matter your situation and I leave you with one of the numerous awesome quotes I found on it.
“Your imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions.” ~ Albert Einstein
(…though on second thoughts this could leave some of us fleeing in terror ; p)

I tend to run away from pessimistic opinions too. I've got a selective ear and only listen to optimistic people!
