Blurb
Newert, an erbit of Windlier Woods, is concerned. The magic of his world
is seeping away. He struggles to open a portal to another world,
believing that this will restore the magic of Windlier Woods. Assuming
the big red truck is magical he returns to his world with the truck and
its driver. Thus begins Newert’s misadventure. What will happen next?
I really enjoyed reading this story and so too did the kids I babysat. It’s a proper adventure with an adorably stubborn protaganist thrown into a spectaular world that he can’t make any sense of. I have always hoped there might be another follow up or two about wee Newert and his adventures. If you’re wanting a fun, classic styled tale of mystery, magic, and heroics, then this is a tale for you.
I asked Nancy to explain where the adorable idea of Newert came from, here’s her words
Nicole for adding ‘The Magic of Windlier Woods’ to her favorites list. It means
a lot to me. When my children were young, at bedtime we made up stories. One
night I invented Erbit, and we shared story ideas for his adventure. Each night
a new element was added until you have the children’s story as it exist now.
This is the only children’s story I have at the moment though now that I have
grandchildren new ideas for more adventures with Erbit are being formed. I am
currently working on the sequel to my epic fantasy, ‘The Treasures of
Carmelidrium.’ I hope to release the sequel, ‘The Rise of Lord Sinon,’ this
fall. If you want to read more magical stories from me, I’ll be posting a flash
fiction faerie tale on the 20th of each month on my blog. Here are all the links
to my e-books.

Nancy will be excited to see your review.
I am excited.
