Hello all : )
I’m back from the road-trip which was awesome even if we were down a number (Loi bailed – was totally lame, if she bails on the next one I’m SO dunking her in the pool!) So I’m vvveeerrrryyyy tired and will post the video in a day or so (I have heaps to cut and edit). I did actually manage to do some editing on my ms (woohhoo) and am up to page 103 (of 353) as well as critiquing a friend’s piece. On that note congrats to Kerrin who’s just completed her first draft *yay* super exciting! And I’ll blab all the details about the road-trip when I post the video. But I will spill one tiny secret… WE PIMPED A TANK! *hee*
God..
No I’m not doing a theological debate (got you!) actually I’m referring to when a character says ‘oh my god!’
I’m not religious and tend to use the term as an exclamation (as you do) and I wasn’t sure how to write it correctly. Whether or not to use a capital that is.
Well with a bit of research I’ve discovered this.
If you are referring to ‘God’ (i.e praying) then use a capital. However if you are using it as an oath DON’T use a capital. If you did it could actually be considered insulting. Also God refers to the Christian/Catholic God or Allah. If you were speaking about another deity like a Greek god or goddess then you use a lower case.
So there you go ; p don’t you just love google!
Hope you all had an awesome weekend : )
